Question: Did Joshua actually conquer Jericho by marching around the walls and shouting on the seventh day? Is this story historically accurate?
This is one of the many Bible events that give sceptics pain, when they apply logic to the “Bible Miracles”.
It is easy to understand the logical minds pain when confronted with the ‘ridiculous’ events called miracles; because they do not make sense in the physical world in which we are entrapped; especially when “men of the cloth”, or charlatans, misuse and abuse such for their own devious motives!
However, it is observed that such people use large amounts of energy attempting to convince people of “faith” in such as the Bible describes; as moronic idiots; who are mentally limited!
History shows that is not an accurate conclusion; as many great men of learning have come to “faith” in Almighty God and His Christ Jesus; including surprisingly Darwin and Einstein! Some Prominent People who became Christians: See Link: Jewish Believers; (Messianic Association).
Although the people at the present time who believe in Christ Jesus’ Death Sacrifice are destined to be in Christ Jesus’ Body; the current naysayers may have a chance before they die to repent, and be “converted”!
There is some thinking making the rounds at present, that as “all people who ever lived”, will be brought before the “Great White Throne” (Rev. 20:11–15); where they will be examined “on all they ever did”; that they have a “2nd chance”? However, what is certain, is that they cannot “Enter Christ’s Kingdom”; which is for Christ -Ones only; and it is apparent that Almighty God wants to have people (entities) with Him that wish to be with Him!
